Hey everyone I’m Melissa I’m the face and the hands behind Simply Spoken. I am a mom of two and a Mimi of two.
I reside in Georgia with my beautiful family.
I started my business in 2020 after being severely injured by a pharmaceutical drug.
I started to documentate my journey on YouTube and started to run a support group on Facebook. It was the most important reason why I am still here because kind sweet strangers on the internet let me their shoulder during a hard time. They’re kind words are what kept me going and why I’m still here today.
Always remember no matter how hard things get never give up.
My history
The beginnings
I started making warrior bracelets and my journey just expanded into apparel drinkware pens keychains accessories and now bundle boxes. Each one of my pieces that I create or that I add into Simply Spoken I wanted to speak to people how others spoke to me during my time of need.
I’m still going through my journey even after 4 years later but I am grateful that I’ve got another chance to do what I do. And I want to thank each and every one of you for supporting my small business because without you I wouldn’t continue doing what I do. Mental health and awareness is very important to me.
Along with many other causes such as cancer since my mother is a three-time warrior and my 9-year-old son also his a warrior of cancer.
I hope that my products when you receive them will give you all some kind of hope, and inspire you.
